Aisle50 is hiring developers in Chicago

1 pointsby Gaussianalmost 13 years ago
This is an opportunity to join the YCS11 company that was voted No. 1 by its 62 peers at the end of the summer. We’re looking for developers who want to build. We’re funded ($2.6M; elite VC investors); we have a web app and a paradigm that works; we have big-company partners and a chance ramp this up quickly.
The right candidate will be hungry to learn and help our awesome dev team keep their current momentum. We’re a Ruby shop, but all comers are welcome to apply. Agile generalists work well as we’re a nimble team that responds well to each week as it unfolds, bringing new clients, new customers and new features.
We are disrupting the way grocery manufacturers’ market their brands. We integrate with grocery store loyalty cards and we give food manufacturers the ability to target, track and follow up on their deals. In short, the business of marketing food is a big one ($35b+) and we do it better than anybody else.
We launched in August and our clients now include General Mills, Kellogg’s, Unilever, Kimberly-Clark, Conagra and Clorox. We offer serious equity and a full slate of benefits including health insurance and a 401k. We have a Killerspin ping pong, a baseball signed for us by Ryne Sandberg, the best sandwich shop in the world 500 feet from our office and a talent for smoking pork shoulders to perfection. We also have a friend at Hershey’s who keeps us deep in Kit Kats, Kisses and Paydays.
The job is in Chicago.
To apply, please email us with your resume, a pithy list of your best skills and a couple of words on the perfect job for you:
corbets@aisle50.com
