Ask HN: What are some nice Indian tech companies/startups?
I ask this for inspiration.
I am a junior dev at a tier 2 company in India. The job is kinda boring but pay is good for an early 20s guy. I was looking to boost my interest in tech by looking at Indian tech scene but its disappointing. The tech companies are either old school outsourcing sweatshops like WITCH companies or new age copy cats like Ola, or YADA - yet another delivery app. There are some edutech and fintech ones but basically all companies in a sector are boring rehash cookie cutter ones.
I want to ask are there any gems hiding from public view that savvy HN members know of? What Indian products you know of that you like or recommend. Also, is it the same for tech in all countries outside USA?
