Quite an interesting and easy to digest overview of what LEAs have been up to in 2023. Not much new stuff going on, but interesting nonetheless.<p>An tidbit I found notable was &quot;web3&quot; being mentioned as a threat for LEA&#x27;s ability to intercept&#x2F;decrypt&#x2F;read online traffic, in the same breath as E2EE and blockchain etc.<p>&gt;Wider adaptation of Web3 principles will lead to a further decentralised Internet. In a decentralised Internet, communications are neither controlled nor regulated by governments or private companies. &lt;...&gt; Decentralisation, blockchain technology and P2P networks will continue to provide opportunities for cyber offenders as they make it easier to carry out transactions anonymously and out of sight of the authorities.
