Ask HN: How to install Beta Android version on old phone to test/try features?

1 pointsby srbhr10 months ago
Hey HN Community, I have an old Samsung and a Motorola phone, both around 4 years old, with me. They're budget phones, and I want to install and try the Android 15 Beta version. Is there a way I can do that or some best practices without bricking them?

I have no idea how to do it on anything but a pixel and I run the latest beta on my Pixel fold. The procedure was just to go to the website for the beta and then enroll my device.<p>I personally don&#x27;t think there&#x27;s anything here for you to really poke at on your budget device with this. You might get new features to try or play with but nothing crazy or exciting is here that I think is universal to all devices that end up on 15.
