Hi HN,
We built Neurooo.com, an automatic translation tool like DeepL or Google Translate, but using LLMs with OpenAI and Mistral.
We noticed that LLMs were quite good at translating informal or contextual text, and also way cheaper than DeepL or Google Translate when you factor in the cost per character.
So we decided to try and build a similar translation interface to see if we can match the leaders in term of ease of use and quality.
We're quite happy about it and people around us seem to think that we're even better in many cases (abbreviations, informal emails, business translations, etc.).
We'd love you to give it a try and some feedback!
Happy to answer your questions
Very cool! I've transitioned from using Google Translate and DeepL to ChatGPT for translations. In general I think the ChatGPT translations are better, but the default UI for is a little tedious. Looks like your tool solves this problem.
I tried translating some Japanese, but the result is not correct.
兄や弟さえも憎むようになりました.
I have come to hate even my brothers and sisters.
It should be "I have come to hate even my older brother and younger brother."
Are you using ChatGPT 3.5? I've found that you need to use version 4 to get quality translations as 3.5 makes a lot of mistakes.
Neurooo sounds promising! I’ve found that combining translation tools like yours with an AI assistant like RewriteBar can really enhance both accuracy and context, especially for writing in different styles. I'm definitely excited to give it a shot!
We use it in our medical app to translate it into the East European language, and the API is very fast and stable! No need to search for an alternative
