I'm asking this question because I'm thinking about changing jobs, and I'd like to know if my seniors have any good advice for me.
Being a software engineer working in China, maybe this question may be thought from a very different perspective for most people here.
Because in China we may face the question of whether to choose something like 996 (working from 9am to 9pm, 6 days a week) in exchange for a higher salary. I think this is something that is probably rare elsewhere. The question amounts to how important is money when changing jobs. For reference, if I chose 996, I would probably get twice the pay.
Of course, I'd like to know all of your thoughts, so feel free to chime in!
