I've created Tree of Knowledge (tree-of-knowledge.org), a dynamic visualization tool that organizes all fields of knowledge into an interactive tree structure (generated by AI). As a Computer Science student, I built this to make exploring and connecting different areas of knowledge more intuitive and engaging. You can satiate your curiosity and grasp anything a click away... fast and easy.
Key features:
- Start from the green 'Knowledge' node to explore the entire tree
- Customize your own Start Node to focus on any specific area (this can be anything!)
- Interactive interface for easy navigation through all fields, and to any depth you desire
I'm looking for feedback and suggestions on how to improve this project. Any thoughts on features, scalability, usability, or potential applications would be greatly appreciated!
You can reach me for anything at pierre.treeofknowledge@gmail.com
I hope you find this project as exciting as I do.
Much thanks,
Pierre
Pretty neat!
Some unsorted Feedback:
- some recommendations where to start apart from "knowledge" would probably help. "Choose any word" kind of prompts are cool, but also overwhelming
- the contrast for "Node Information" is really low (Firefox, Laptop)
- I know this is a free tool and all, but some "selling" could help. What do I gain from your tool? Which pain point does it attack, how does this make me better faster stronger? Where to integrate this in, say, an academic workflow?
Thanks for sharing :)
