Frustrated by the official way to resolve secretmanager secrets in Lambda functions using the official Lambda extension (<a href="https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/ps-integration-lambda-extensions.html" rel="nofollow">https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide...</a>), I built a more user-friendly way, which requires no code changes to the Lambda function code.
