This is very cool. Almost completely useless, but very cool all the same.<p>One thing I’m wondering about though. I’m not an expert, but I cannot really see how a VPN is any protection from sketchy public wifis? If they wanted to own you it would be enough for you to connect to the wifi in question.<p>I guess it would protect against packet sniffers while you are browsing etc. But then, the packet sniffer should pick up on your login to your VPN, and now they own that instead.<p>I don’t know, when travelling I only use my mobile Internet, seems safer.
