Namely the story that innocent Russia has been purposely encircled by NATO the inevitable predator, etc.<p>That said, you can tell it is nonsense by how casually Putin chose to move Russian troops and equipment <i>away</i> from spooky-scary NATO borders in order to try gobbling up Ukraine.
