Proton mail is probably the worst email service I've used even gmail is better in comparison.<p>So as I woke up 2 days ago to a bunch of weird notifications on my phone of some cruchyroll signups I knew instantly it was some bored teenager trying their tool on me, not a big deal since any email provider worth their salt can just refuse traffic coming from that server and call it a day, right? Well not with protonmail since if you want to suspend any protonmail account you want, all you'd have to do is bulk sign them up for a bunch of websites and that will do it.<p>They don't even temporarily disable your account they just suspend it and their support will ignore you.<p>I've been their customer since 2017 and used to recommend them to people, I guess not anymore.
