For example, seventh cartoon from the top, the one with a Sphinx, Anubis and a pug, has the pie of opportunity in the lower left corner: https://www.bizarro.com/cats
This one is very easy to spot; find others on your own; e.g. in the same image there is also a dynamite; earlier image (mustache wax) has both and something else.

Having read them all, and then searched for them in the "archives" selection of Bizarro cartoons, I feel no more enlightened as to their meaning or any of the mysteries of life. Nonetheless, I am amused and somewhat delighted.

I've seen those symbols in the cartoons for years! While it's fun to read the author's explanation, I never wondered about any sort of meaning behind them. I just figured someone who found humor in the bizarre and nonsensical also liked drawing random little aliens and eyeballs in places they didn't belong.
I'm still not completely convinced that isn't what's going on.
