I have starlink at my folks who live in a remote area without cellphone coverage and only had slow dialup. It also allows me to work remotely when I&#x27;m there, teams works fine, low enough latency I dont notice when using ssh&#x2F;vpn.<p>And more satellites are going up all the time for more coverage.

It blows my mind that Starlink is already profitable. I vaguely remember that it was thought that they wouldn&#x27;t be able to make a profit on it without Starship. Falcon 9 is just such an excellent rocket. I guess it makes a lot of sense when you can launch a cell tower into space for $200k if it can cover 100x as much area as a terrestrial cell tower at a similar price. Even if it only lasts 1&#x2F;10th as long.
