50 years ago Silicon Valley was the upstart. It was not as big player in the military industrial crowd (even if it has its origins there). The behemoth tech companies are today "the establishment". Now they are the ones needing protections from smaller more nimble upstarts.

As the article is overtly political, I&#x27;ll make a political response and cut to the chase:<p>Trump is the most for-sale candidate and president in history.
