More thorough than the usual travel blogger content in some ways. Seems mostly full of posts from government employees and diplomats. At least in Thailand many of those expats live in a gated community bubble, and only interact with Thais as maids, nannies, drivers, and chefs.<p>The questions seem focused on contrasting life in the US with the foreign country. I suppose that gives some useful information but it doesn’t capture the unique aspects of the foreign place. For example asking how to get certain groceries from the US but not asking about adopting a local diet instead.
