> I have nothing to hide
Aside from your desires and income. I believe people oversharing info deserve the hardest price they are going to stomach. Although I have no illusion about any learning effect.
Damn coupon collectors and fitness insurance app users.

No question that it is coming- it is, in effect, already here- the expectation among consumers has been teed up by the media. In a way, this is just sugar for the coming pill. But the inevitable backlash really ought to surprise no vendor who employs it. Where it will be most cruel is at the margins of society. They bear the brunt of all inequalities. Take the troubling precedent of the poor tax: late fees and interest on late or incompleted payments due to lack of funds. Is that any indication of future appetite in the economy to, for instance, penalize a poor person for buying less food than someone else? If we just let the market determine these things, inequity could be more and more severe. Will we just let it?

Unable to view the entirety of the article, so I'm unsure if this is addressed:
>>> But “price discrimination,” where you sell the same product to different customers at different prices, is a longstanding feature of the business world.
This used to be called haggling. Key difference here is that price discrimination is now exclusive on features that are out of a users' control. This of course will be addressed by the user akin to how one spoofs their browser information to incite specific behavior of a web service.
The term user agent is fitting within the context of this article as well! Will just need to spoof some combination of demographic context to get the lowest price of a service.

Bit by bit, the world seems to be getting worse in too many ways. This is yet another such bit.
