Any image protocol implementation is blocked on Gnome side for no apparent reason.<p>While on KDE side, they happily welcomed a MR to add support for images in the Konsole terminal: <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;invent.kde.org&#x2F;utilities&#x2F;konsole&#x2F;-&#x2F;merge_requests&#x2F;594" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;invent.kde.org&#x2F;utilities&#x2F;konsole&#x2F;-&#x2F;merge_requests&#x2F;59...</a><p>This is sad since Gnome retains a considerably large slice of the desktop market but it&#x27;s offering a poor experience to its users.

Being a 70&#x27;s child, I well beyond doing everything on the terminal, use the graphics card to its powers.
