Elitism is efficient and often effective, if perhaps unfairly skewed to people who know how to work the system. The DRI concept was new to me, that at least short circuits a lot of bad blame conversations: If you aren't a Janitor, and you're the DRI, no amount of finger pointing is going to get you off the hook so pay attention.<p>I wouldn't even have made the bottom 100 invite list for lunch so this is all theoretical.
