I'd get behind authenticated feeds with a good client. It probably needs analogous services to X509 or CT: The Guardian publishes an authenticated feed, It gets countersigned by somebody I like or indirectly trust, I get to read the feed update in my client of choice, and graze the stories.<p>In some ways, it would do for me, what grazing reddit or twitter (when I used to) does.
