You may agree with Musk or not, it is good that governments stop appeasing those that are so fed up and lazy that they romance restrictions on speech, because they read something the do not like on the net.
If only they'd actually do something about it. Like sanction this place to its knees.
I mean, the US really hates when brazilians infringe their copyrights. It's said that as many as 80% of brazilians have done so at least once in their lives. This got us put into the US Trade Representative's intellectual property naughty list which is kind of a sanction unto itself since it hurts trade and economic relations.
One would think the US would not appreciate these unelected judge-god-kings stealing millions from american companies via completely arbitrary fines. Twitter is not even alone here. These same judges also fined Google when it tried to campaign against their proposed "fake news" laws. You see, Google perpetrated the grave crime of adding a link to their own search page. "Abuse of economic position", they called it.
