There might be some truth about laser toner quality. I resetted my Samsung page counter and started using super cheap buckets of toner from Ebay. Worked well, colors were ok, but the transfer belt become scratched sooner than expected. New belt and drum costed €200 and new HP laser printer was €160, so..
