I have been using Dark Reader for years and years. Sometimes I forget that some websites don't natively support dark mode until I accidentally turn it off for some reason.
I recommend setting it to disabled by default, and manually enable it for websites which need it using the "Invert listed only" button.
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dark-reader/eimadpb...
I used to be a big user of dark mode on every site that hd it available. Nowadays I just turn it off. I find it incredibly annoying and I’ve also realised that my eyes don’t hurt as much as I’ve read abou they should. I suppose YMMV
Not exactly what you’re looking for, but you can use https://news.t0.vc/
to view HN in dark mode
Does anyone know if anything has ever been added since the days when Paul Graham ran this directly? They might be operating on strict orders to keep it the exact same? I know there was some wording changes to the rules a few years back, but I’m talking technical additions of any kind. Any old timers around?
