Yes. The Disney movies made zero sense and were artistically tiresome.<p>The original trilogy were united by the theme of the son helping his father (Vader) redeem himself.<p>The second trilogy attempted to explain why Vader joined the Dark side in the first place. Nevermind it made no sense. Hmmm. My wife is dying and the bad guy who I have been taught my whole life to distrust said he can save her. So I will go along and murder children in the process?<p>I have no clue what Rey and Kylo Ren are about other than subjecting me to three movies worth of their British posh accents. It is like watching two Shakespearean actors slumming and half assing their way through low brow fare.
