"Speaking at an all-hands meeting for AWS, unit CEO Matt Garman said nine out of 10 workers he has spoken with support the new policy, which takes effect in January, according to a transcript reviewed by Reuters."<p>Beyond hard to believe that represents the true sentiment at AWS towards this policy - he should at least be aware that people won't give him honest feedback to his face.
Not to sound harsh or troll-y but no news here. You can always quit. Employment in the USA is "at will". You are not bound to them any more than they are bound to you.<p>Sure some outfits pay better, and with accepting that comes "responsiblity." That is, align your values and keep your mouth shut.<p>If you don't like your current station, update your CV and move on. But to whine with a sense of entitlement is in direct opposition to understanding what "at will" means.
