I am looking forward to the Mac Mini M4, which is supposed to be announced soon. I'm past the point where I can be productive peering down at a small screen, typing on a crunched keyboard, and using a trackpad instead of trackball mouse...I'd rather pay less for the same guts, and hook up my own high-quality peripherals that I can swap in and out as the hardware gets better. I also have flexibility to place the monitor wherever I want (at head level so I'm not peering down). I also have a heating pad I can place under my keyboard and mouse, keeping my hands warm in the winter.<p>I do really like the Magic Trackpad, but it definitely does not offer a very ergonomic setup and my wrist starts to hurt again after 30 minutes of use.
