I've tried really hard to understand if she actually intends to be taken seriously. There's ... no possible way she can actually be serious about her performance, right? I've read various defenses, and she honestly seems to genuinely believe that's breakdancing, but to me it looks like she is purposely trolling using performance art. Even if she is serious, it looks so different from everything else I've seen (it was very popular when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s) that it's hard for her not to recognize the difference between what she does and what everybody else is doing.
