For every 1C raise in air temperature, air holds 7X more water vapor (humidity). That isn't evenly distributed. So as the cold/hot wind currents interact, that gives stronger hurricanes. An entire year's worth of rain getting dumped in a few hours creating flash floods.
So every year is not only getting hotter, but also gets wetter.
Florida voted for Trump by a very wide margin compared to 2020. They'll get hit the hardest every year.
I was under false presumption that Mitlon and Helene will change how Floridians think, but I guess a loot more damage and death needs to happen before we internalize the cost of climate change is much higher than the cost of switching to renewable energy.
Ironically, China may be the one to lead the way. They are the largest producers and installers of Solar + Batteries. More than rest of the world combined.
