Hello!<p>I shared almost 3 years ago this website made by the father of a friend that uses free satellite data to showcase the earth near realtime, using algorithms he crafted to assemble and color correct everything together (see original post <a href="https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29851399">https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29851399</a>)<p>Since then he improved a lot his software, taking advantage of new satellites, new color wave length, and taking the challenge to map it all on a 3D earth globe (compared to flat earth surfaces previously).
