Books about famous people really help me especially learning how they achieved success. We usually only see them once they’ve made it but we don’t get to see all their struggles along the way. It’s fascinating to read about what they’ve been through. And of course educational books are important too, depending on your profession.

Like many of you interviewing caused me a GREAT amount of anxiety.
To address that I found an author who had extensive list of possible interview questions. Reading that helped me to feel I could answer and greatly improved my interview results.
'Knock 'em Dead' by Martin Yate - sadly I think he has retired.

How to Win Friends and Influence People. In 12 years it will be 100 years old, but simple sense doesn't age. Take an interest in people and treat them well. It always beats being good at stuff.
