If nobody did basic research in categorizing and cultivating <i>Thermus aquaticus</i> bacteria found in hot springs, we wouldn&#x27;t have modern DNA tests.

A rehash of the 1980s-era Golden Fleece Award, frequently targeting odd-sounding studies.
