For $2,500.<p>That&#x27;s more than I expected. Less than it should be, but quite possibly enough to make a lot of authors consider it. At least, if there&#x27;s some reason to think it&#x27;ll be in addition to book sales, rather than a replacement. Like, six months of sales before it gets ingested.<p>I&#x27;d expected it to be &quot;Here&#x27;s a nickel and a discount coupon for frozen yogurt, and if you don&#x27;t like it we&#x27;ll publish somebody else.&quot;
