Native compilation of Prolog predicates with Cranelift [pdf]

It feels like there's a lot of really interesting stuff going on with Prolog these days. I don't remember seeing much about it and now it's like I see it everywhere. Would be very cool to native compile some tools like DCGs as an alternative to grep!
