Code Search – Grep by Vercel

Why 'Grep' when such a tool with this name already exists since... 1973? Or even before if we're counting `g/re/p`.

How is this genuinely different from GitHub search? More advanced grep options? Also, I&#x27;d love to see repositories available in CodeQL. GitHub seems to be promoting CodeQL heavily again.

can we have something like an api for this ? I am thinking of creating a cli tool on top of this thing interesting
