I'm kinda sorta hoping that bringing more awareness to this word, or more accurately to what it describes, brings an increasing awareness of how pervasive enshittification is, and thus more people call it out, naming and shaming.<p>Let's not limit the awareness and use of the word to those of us in tech circles, lest nothing will change.<p>I genuinely think that language shapes thinking, and that having a single word that replaces what would be a long-sentence description will actually help to form people's thinking about it, such that they'll be more likely to notice it.<p>Has shrinkflation been inducted yet?
