$2 &#x2F; hr is the price point that works. It is a wage in line with the local population. They have to understand if it goes to $12&#x2F;hr it makes a lot more sense to use labor in Mississippi or North Dakota. There are many states that the minimum wage is 7.25 here in the US and a computer job would help a lot in a cold winter in North Dakota for example.<p>China needs to push its people into lower wages too. Dollar tree needs to go back to 1.00 an item to have success. Shipping and tariffs will be carried on the backs of the Chinese worker. They might as well snap up the work now while they still can.
