The chart this data comes from (<a href="https://ifr.org/downloads/press2018/Teaser_Robot_Density_.jpg" rel="nofollow">https://ifr.org/downloads/press2018/Teaser_Robot_Density_.jp...</a>) is for employees within the manufacturing industry, not for the economy as a whole.
This seems like a flawed way to measure things, especially in the long view.<p>Consider how much of "the workforce" in any developed country "are now" motors, textile machines, farm-equipment, and CPUs.
