not sure why the article compares the Li-S chemistry to the Li-ion chemistry, Li-ion is very fire prone. the LiFePO4 battery chemistry is much more stable and the tech is getting to a point where it's useful and affordable (not referring to those tiny 100ah 12v batteries) - but it has been in development for decades. Li-S will probably take just as long to bring to market, and then another 5 to 10 years before it's affordable to the average consumer.
