Seems like Microsoft is intentionally doing a leftpad. One day people are going to wake up and a host of CI pipelines and the like will start failing.<p>NPM, Maven and other package management systems don't generally allow revoking older libraries for security flaws. The pain from this if it goes through will be felt widely.
