The google maps api console only shows you the number of API requests for the last 30 days. You can’t see historical usage. You can, though, see historical billing.<p>For example, for us, a $174 bill (discounted to $0), at $5 per 1,000 requests, means 38,400 requests. Under the new pricing, you knock off 10,000 requests. 24.8*5 =124. Stinks that they can’t just plainly show historical usage.<p>Anyway, this price change is a biggie.
As someone who just put a map on my website, I find this press release completely unreadable. Not a single of word of it makes sense to me, and I assume that it means a massive price hike.
