I’m not defending US healthcare insurance providers by any means - however, when I read what he and his mother were suffering from, I can’t help but think what they would’ve done 100 years ago? These treatments and drugs were not available then (I suppose there was morphine or Opium), and now is basically a question of money and copays.<p>It sucks the costs are so high, but their situation does not fill me with the anger and indignation like others I've read, and wonder if this guy was basically angry with life and looking to blame someone.
