Ask HN: Best resources to get informed about starting a tech company?

1 pointsby farhadabasalmost 13 years ago
I just graduated from college as a software engineer. Instead of finding a job, I decided to start making social Android games with a friend after having some relative success with mobile games previously. We are nearing our first product release in the next few months, however I am still uncertain about how to publish it. We have not registered a company yet, and I am still not sure what the best way to go about it all is. I am young, have no experience starting a company, but believe that it is time to inform myself about it now. All of this is a bit overwhelming right now, but I think I just need some guidance right now to get me started. I am mainly looking to learn about the best way to go about registering the company, first things I should do once it is registered, how to go about hiring employees, and other legal things I need to deal with. So, I would appreciate if anyone can suggest me resources to help me get started :)
