Gen Zers may not have a house or kids, but they're spoiling their pets more

When I moved to the BA two decades ago, if you saw a baby stroller it didn&#x27;t have a baby in it. Ever.<p>It had a dog. Or cat.<p>So &quot;more&quot; as long as it doesn&#x27;t mean &quot;more&quot; than Millenials or weird GenX&#x27;ers.

“Plants are the new pets, pets are the new kids, kids are for the wealthy and&#x2F;or crazy.” is the phrase a young person recently shared with me.
