Aside from the obvious &quot;lie down with dogs get up with fleas&quot; type comments this is pretty straightforward: telsa depends on cheap foreign imports and worldwide labour. Trump is pursuing protectionist policies which will be unhelpful.<p>Trump is unlikely to help wind and solar, both of which consume tesla battery systems. Trump cannot align strongly to Musks anti unionism, the teamsters will kill his vote.<p>SpaceX may be a different story because state actors love LEO and launch capacity and making NASA look silly would amuse the charlatan in chief.<p>I saw a loony prediction of Musk ejecting from tesla in 2025 which I don&#x27;t think will happen but if the board knew what was good for them they&#x27;d look for other lines of engagement.
