Apple Broke a 13-Year Hardware Streak in 2024

This feels like a stretch. They count the "iPad Mini" as a new product and not a type of iPad. Similarly the Thunderbolt Display, the iPhone 5C, and others. I would not count these as new product lines, just evolutions of existing ones.

What new hardware category should they have released?<p>Apple Shoes?<p>(Yes, I have those motion sensors they released with Nike. 2010?)
