That's a very strong indictment from some anecdotal experience.<p>From what can be seen of the real criminal records, and media coverage, it looks very doubtful that both of the criminals driving these rental vehicles were guilty of as many felonies combined as some of the better-known real estate shysters who have not yet been adequately restrained from future dishonest activity. Just the opposite in fact.<p>Well if people are aware of the old saying "when the going gets tough, the tough get going !"<p>They've probably also heard the H.S.Thompson version "when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."<p>I think it goes without saying, when you celebrate felons, felons get away with moider.
