No idea what's underlying this post. I do think it's kind of amusing to think how little serious time humanity as a whole spends thinking about how (and preparing for when) human civilization (e.g. what it means to work, believe in god, go to school, defend a nation, start a business, etc.) will be forced to change once we do surpass the singularity and computers are able to do anything a human can do, but better.<p>I guess it's kind of like climate change. The magnitude, inevitability, and helplessness is too much for our collective little brains to take meaningful action.<p>Hunter-gatherer cultures should still be good to go and happy after the singularity. I'd be upset if Yoshimi let those robots defeat them too.
