&quot;Proper work&quot; can only be done in a plantation setting.<p>When companies call you after hours with a problem, just tell them it isn&#x27;t &quot;proper&quot; and you can&#x27;t be productive from home.<p>As used here, &quot;proper&quot; is a coded word that really means &quot;we don&#x27;t like it&quot;.

Remember that productivity increase that happened due to work-from-home? Expect it to vanish with return-to-office. On top of having alienated your employees who control everything inside your company.
