Technical debt is too generous a term for what was fundamentally flawed by design, never tested in the first place, allowed to be perpetually unmaintained (and unmaintainable), and was always completely unable to withstand the first motivated and malicious internal adversary to show up in the first place.<p>State the rights without stating the responsibilities that are concomitant to those rights and you’re not making a democracy, you’re training a better tyranny.
