We definitely need more transparency from these companies about how their algorithms work and how they make decisions regarding content moderation in the context of reproductive health.

&quot;The Algorithm&quot; has become a useful excuse. No, I don&#x27;t believe some ham fisted fool went and dialled the anti abortion knob to 11 on secret instructions. Yes I do think that it&#x27;s politically expedient and not very surprising the corporates in social media feed tuning want to disclaim personal responsibility for systems they control for profit.<p>I do not think there has been a real sentiment shift in the community away from support for women&#x27;s reproductive rights. I do believe the commentaries may have taken &quot;the algorithm&quot; there.
