This is now really irritating me, because the context, "illegal migrants" for example, is a kind of nod and wink to say - you know what I mean, and I'm pretty certain illegal emigration isn't a thing. Migrants include emigrants, pure and simple.<p>Perhaps they fear the word immigrant may shatter their thin veneer.
